With approximately 7,000 residents, Sint-Laureins exudes a warm and welcoming village atmosphere.

Thanks to its central location, you can reach popular seaside and shopping towns like Knokke and Bruges within 30 minutes, and bustling Ghent within 45 minutes. For a day of shopping across the border, nearby Sluis in the Netherlands is an ideal destination. Architecture

The modernist school building, constructed in 1962, was a familiar sight in the region. Its brown-gray facade and the trees lining the street were iconic. That same facade brick, combined with new concrete strips, will be incorporated into the new buildings to be constructed.
