Surroundings
Baasrode is a rural borough of Dendermonde. Located near the Scheldt River, along the Zwarte Beek stream, lies a new residential neighborhood that blends seamlessly with the surrounding nature. It is a place where children can grow up playing and families can enjoy a sustainable future. There is only one main entrance on Theo d’Or. The roads leading to the homes are dead-ends, so there is no through traffic. In addition, the cluster parking lots on the edge of the neighborhood ensure that cars are kept off the streets as much as possible.
Architecture
Theo d’Or features a modern yet warm aesthetic that fits perfectly with the rural character of Baasrode. The architecture combines natural materials such as brick and wood with clean lines and a contemporary design. Large windows bring light and air into the homes, while subtle variations in color and texture create a vibrant whole. Each home thus retains its own identity within a harmonious and stylish streetscape. The result is a refined, balanced look that blends modern comfort with the charm of the natural surroundings.
